This week on Definitely Dylan Live, we’re exploring Dylan through the years, with one song from each decade of Dylan’s career! Robert Chaney is back as Laura’s sidekick, and we have a surprise visit from our hero Simon Stanley Ward, who will be back on the programme sooner than you think!
A big correction and some additional info: there was a confusion of 90s sitcoms. Dylan had a cameo on Dharma & Greg (not on Will & Grace - why were there two shows with such similar titles?)! The story behind it was that Eddie Gorodetsky, a friend of Dylan’s, was a writer and director for Dharma and Greg and invited him to come on the show. Gorodetsky was also the producer, writer and co-creator of "Theme Time Radio Hour”! T-Bone Burnett was playing with him, but otherwise not working on the show. Guys! It’s incredible the things you can get confused when you’re live on air! Anyway, here’s a clip of Dylan’s hilarious guest appearance on the show.
Anyway, here’s the link to that incredible alternative vocal of Going Going Gone.
